Just want Curse to do addon updates and that's it. Forget the social aspect part which it seems to be pushing now. Not a fan of the way that you can't really close the app down unless you go into task manager now and kill the process either. But that's just my personal opinion. Which sucks if you just want a program to update addons.If you want an app to just update your addon, then do just that and close it afterwards. I really don't see the problem with that. You can even set it up such that it will immediately open the addon view after starting the program. You absolutely don't have to touch any of the the other features of the app. Worried about privacy? Use fake mail/twitch account and you are save.

Twitch Client

The old client is very outdated and even if it still works, sooner or later it most likely wont.
